leash bones not working correctly or at least different to previous versions

Leash bones on Models don't work like in previous versions of MEG4. There are 2 things that makes using them in the current dev Version (4.0.8-31.12.2024) impractial.

  • 1.
Models using leash bones (with tag "l_") spawn ingame with an invisible slime as part of the model, to which the lead attaches. Which so far is not a problem, but probably how the leash bone works. However this Slime can be interacted with, and blocks Interactions and Hits for the Model. Models with small Hitboxes, are completly blocked by the leash bone. I think this behaviour is not intended.

  • 2.
The Slime seems to be aligned to the global axis (always facing South) and doesn't rotate with the Model. Therefore the connection point of the Leash is not identical to the Pivot point/ location of the Leash bone in the Model.

Booth of these makes Models that use leash bones a little bit broken at the moment.

Model of a Pig with a leash bone. The Slime, visible in spectator, is bigger than the hitbox; blocking all interactions
