Custom Biomes seem to not function in the procedural dungeon generator

While using the basic Minecraft data pack biome feature to add new biomes to my worlds, I tried making some dungeon generators. To my surprise, they didn't save the custom biome assigned to them when I used world edit. This is a bit of an issue since it limits the number of potential dungeons I can generate.

I attempted to look around the files as well to see if I could simply set some sort of override to the rooms and found nothing, perhaps a feature can be added to the map config to simply set the generated worlds biome? As datapack biomes are applied to the entire server and can be referenced globally by all other plugins I've used.
