Summary
- Speak mechanic is such an amazing way to use NPCs, and it's easy to use for chat text too! I love this mechanic. But... one problem. When I ~onInteract with an NPC (a mob), this message frequently displays sideways. I assume this is meant to "face the player" but it is quite absurd right now, as it is. I would consider this a bug. Please x1000 fix this!
Steps to reproduce
Mob skill line:
- speak{m="&bHey Buddy!<&nl>"} @PIR{r=6} ~OnInteract
added Bug Incomplete information labels
added Verified Issue label and removed Incomplete information label
Confirmed - Using the speak mechanic, the rotation of the text box seems to be completely random.
Add this mob skill to any test dummy, and right click away. The first speak might be correct, but all subsequent rotations are off and difficult to read. The third screenshot I had to jump to get that angle to show at all. It was almost Parallel with the ground.
Also, text does not continue formatting when auto going to next line. (the whole text should be yellow. not just the first two words)
