Custom horse doesnt trigger RootVehicle tag on players

Ok so.. in vanilla when you ride a horse a player gets the RootVehicle tag, when I summon a horse with MM it doesn't. This is a problem, because there is no way to check if a player is riding any MM mobs.

I know this bug report seems irrelevant but the way I see it, its a big bug.
