MythicEnchants is built as an add-on to [MythicMobs](https://mythiccraft.io/index.php?resources/mythicmobs.1/) and requires it as a [dependency](/Info/Dependencies), and also expands when using [optional dependencies](/Info/Dependencies#optional-dependencies).

## Modern Stability and Functionality
MythicEnchants auto-generates and manages its [datapack](/info/packs) elements in configured worlds. This modern data-driven approach creates true enchantments compatible with modern Minecraft, allowing vanilla operations such as anvil and grindstone crafting to work reliably, systems such as vanilla's `/enchant` command recognizing all custom enchantments from MythicEnchants, and even cross-compatibility with other datapacks and features.
